Energy
As the name suggests, cereals make up the main ingredient in breakfast cereals. Cereals are rich in complex carbohydrates and are an important source of energy. Complex carbohydrates are mainly found in wholegrain breakfast cereals like muesli and crunchy. A tasty and energetic way to start your day.
Fun
Breakfast is an important meal for kids. If they don’t eat breakfast, they'll be hungry by mid-morning. Several studies have pointed out that children who don’t eat breakfast tend to suffer from more weight problems than those who do. There is even some evidence to suggest that eating breakfast improves kids’ ability to learn. But as any parent will tell you, it isn’t always easy to get children to eat breakfast before going to school. Fortunately nowadays there are so many yummy breakfast cereals to offer our kids as an alternative to bread & spread or meat-based meals.
Digestion
Breakfast cereals were developed as an attempt to create foods that would help regulate the gastrointestinal system. And today’s breakfast cereals still have this beneficial effect on your digestive system. Muesli and crunchy are chiefly made from wheat and oat flakes that have been processed without removing the bran. That’s why they are in perfect harmony with a balanced diet and healthy life style.
Taste
Breakfast cereals come in so many tastes and shapes that you can never tire of them. The basic ingredients may vary, the structure can be totally different and there may be subtle taste differences. And then there are an infinite number of ways to combine breakfast cereals. You can add fresh fruits to your fruity crunchy for those extra vitamins; or you can add milk or yoghurt to your muesli for that extra bit of calcium in your diet. And you can make your kids’ day by mingling various kid’s cereals to create your very own recipe.
